1941 : Went to Mirmande (Drôme) with Palué, met André Lhote, Garbell and Bolin.
1946 : Got a travel grant from the state, with a canvas "The Kiosk" of Valence, now in the Valence Museum. In July 1946, after a pilgrimage in Arles and Saint-Rémy to recover the memories of Van Gogh, the most admired painter with Bonnard, he visited him in his villa in Le Cannet.

1947 : Marries and settles permanently in the village of Chavannes in the Drôme.
1950 : With Cottavoz, Lauran, Fusaro and Truphémus takes part in the Sanziste art movement.
1950-1960 : Gives classes in painting at Valence and Tournon, then sets up and runs the Art School in Romans. First exhibition in Valence. Large reproductions of his paintings are published in Great Britain and USA.
1970-1980 : Paints large pictures for the Valence museum and for the Valentin agricultural lycée. Colette Dubois exhibits his work every two years in a gallery in the Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Paris. Gets to know Maurice Brianchon whose painting he admires and his friendship is formed with Raphaël Mischkind, his tennis partner and trusted business agent.
1980-1994 : Venice, Paris, Saint-Tropez, Arcachon inspire him as do the snow covered fields of the Drôme. Writes numerous articles for the Revue technique des Arts and exhibits one hundred paintings and drawings at the castle of du Mouchet.
1994-2004 : Exhibitions in Paris, in Vienne, at Saint-Donat and in the Cordeliers chapel at Crest. Ultimate Art Publishing acquires the rights to reproduce thirteen paintings in the USA. With his daughter Marie opens the Palué and Paris New School museum in 2000. Decorated with the National Order of Merit.
2005 : With his family around him, passes away in his home at Chavannes in the Drôme.
